collection, Soft Hard, the second of We11done’s 10th anniversary year, the Korean brand continues
its exploration of the Joseon punk genre that emerged in Seoul’s underground rock clubs in the 1990s.
Punk fashion calls to mind a commitment to a hard edged look characterized by rips and dirt and
safety pins, but at gigs by local punk bands like Crying Nut and Super Market, many young fans
came to enjoy joyful release in the mosh pit dressed in their school uniforms.

Over the past decade, We11done has gleefully collapsed binaries that tell us clothing articles
must be one thing or the other: Eastern or Western, high or low, women’s ready-to-wear or menswear.

breezy seersucker, striped poplin, and organza. The collection is well suited for those who navigate

a pair of hip-slung pleated khakis with a visible boxer waistband. Speaking of that blazer, it also looks
